Who we are

Vizo Apps is a small, independent studio that builds Android utilities: tools for connecting phones to TVs, monitors and other hardware. You can see the rest of our work at vizoapps.com. We are not affiliated with Google, Amazon, Samsung, Xiaomi, TCL, Hisense, Sony or any TV maker.

How we test

Where a guide says it was tested, it was done on real hardware, not an emulator. The device the test was run on is named at the top of the guide, next to the date. Our current test setup is:

• TV: a Xiaomi Mi TV running Android TV 14 (its interface was set to French during some recordings, which is why a few screenshots are in French).
• Phone: a Samsung Galaxy phone running Android.

The screenshots on this site are taken from screen recordings of those tests. When a guide covers a device we have not tested ourselves (a Fire TV Stick, a TCL or Hisense set, for example), it carries no "Tested on" label, menu paths are the commonly documented ones (they can differ by model and firmware), and we never present screenshots of one device as another.

Keeping guides current

TV menus move between firmware versions. Each guide shows the date it was last updated, and we revise guides when a menu path, an app version or a store listing changes. If a step no longer matches what you see, the menu path on your TV may simply be different. The guides list the common alternatives.

Our app, and how we make money

SATV – Send Apps to TV is free on Google Play. The phone app shows ads; the TV side does not. This website has no ads, no trackers and no cookies. Many guides also describe methods that do not use our app at all (a USB stick, ADB, a browser or Downloader), so you can pick whichever fits.
